2. Our Business Model and Role

2.1 Traditional DSA and Financial Services Distribution

Loan approval, interest rates, Annual Percentage Rate (APR), tenure, loan amount and other terms are determined by the relevant lender.

A loan enquiry or application submitted through MONEYYHEIGHT does not guarantee loan approval or disbursement.

The Company will identify the relevant lender and its role in the application process as required by applicable law and the relevant product arrangement.

Promotional communications will be handled separately from essential service communications, with consent or another lawful basis where required.

4.8 Insurance and Other Financial Product Referrals

Where you express interest in insurance or another financial product, we may use the relevant information to connect you with an appropriately authorised service provider.

We will disclose relevant information to that provider only where permitted and where the required consent or other lawful basis exists.

Any insurance or investment product will be offered or distributed only through an appropriately authorised entity and within the scope of its permissions.

We recognise that consent is an important part of responsible digital lending.

Where consent is required, it will be obtained before the relevant processing or disclosure takes place.

We may request separate consent for:

  1. Collection and processing of information needed to respond to your enquiry.
  2. Processing of information for a particular loan application.
  3. Sharing the relevant application information with identified or appropriately disclosed participating lenders.
  4. Obtaining information from authorised verification providers.
  5. Optional promotional communications.
  6. Other processing activities requiring separate consent under applicable law.

Consent will not be treated as unlimited permission to collect or use all information for every purpose.

5.2 Multiple-Lender Applications

Where your application may be considered by more than one lender, we will explain the relevant process and seek the necessary consent before sharing your personal information with the applicable lenders.

Where a specific lender is selected, your information will be shared with that lender for the stated application purpose.

Where a multi-lender arrangement is used, the participating lenders and their respective roles will be disclosed in accordance with applicable law and the relevant product workflow.

Information will not be indiscriminately distributed to every lender merely because you submitted a general enquiry.

You may withdraw consent for processing that relies on your consent by contacting us through the channels provided in this Policy or through an available application setting.

Withdrawal will not invalidate processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.

It may also prevent us from continuing an application or providing a service where the relevant information is necessary for that service.

We will explain any material consequences of withdrawal where applicable.

Withdrawal of consent does not require us to delete information that we are legally required or otherwise lawfully entitled or obliged to retain.

Marketing communications will be optional where consent is the applicable legal basis.

You may opt out of promotional communications at any time through the available unsubscribe mechanism or by contacting us.

Opting out of marketing will not, by itself, stop necessary application-related or legally required communications.

Where required, we will maintain appropriate records of consent, including the purpose, date, applicable notice and relevant withdrawal or modification.

6. Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information as a standalone commercial product.

We may disclose information only as permitted by applicable law and for the relevant purposes described in this Policy.

6.1 Partner Banks and NBFCs

We may share relevant application information with participating banks and NBFCs to facilitate:

  • Loan application processing.
  • KYC and verification.
  • Credit assessment and underwriting.
  • Eligibility checks.
  • Sanction and disbursement workflows.
  • Application status communication.
  • Other permitted lending-related activities.

Our existing financial services distribution business includes arrangements relating to auto finance with Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Piramal Finance, Poonawalla Fincorp and the institution identified in our business records as AES Monfinance Bank.

These names describe the Company's existing or stated business relationships in the relevant auto-loan distribution context. Their inclusion does not represent a claim that every named institution has authorised MONEYYHEIGHT as an LSP for digital personal loans.

A lender will be treated as a participating digital lending partner only where the relevant arrangement is active, applicable and appropriately authorised.

The availability of each product and the identity of its lender will be disclosed through the relevant application or product process.

6.2 Verification and Technology Service Providers

We may share necessary information with authorised providers supporting:

  • KYC and identity verification.
  • Document verification.
  • Application processing.
  • Secure data transmission.
  • Hosting and infrastructure.

Such providers must be subject to appropriate contractual, confidentiality, security and data-processing safeguards.

They may process information only within the scope of their authorised services and applicable instructions.

6.3 Credit Information and Financial Data Providers

Where required and legally permitted, we may facilitate access to or transmission of information through authorised credit information, financial data and verification providers.

Access to credit information and financial data will be subject to the relevant legal requirements, authorisations, consent and lender processes.

6.4 Insurance and Other Product Partners

Where you expressly enquire about or apply for an insurance or other financial product, we may share relevant information with the applicable authorised partner, subject to the required consent or other lawful basis.

6.5 Professional Advisers and Service Providers

We may disclose information to legal advisers, auditors, consultants and other professional service providers where necessary for legitimate business, compliance or legal purposes and subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

We may disclose information where required by applicable law, a valid court order, a lawful regulatory direction or another legally binding requirement.

6.7 Corporate Transactions

If a merger, restructuring, acquisition or similar transaction is proposed, information may be transferred where legally permissible and subject to appropriate safeguards.

We will not use a corporate transaction as a basis for unrestricted or unrelated disclosure of customer information.

7. Multiple-Lender Digital Lending

Where MONEYYHEIGHT operates an application or platform supporting more than one regulated lending institution, the relevant digital lending arrangement will be structured in accordance with applicable RBI requirements and the agreements with participating lenders.

Where applicable, the platform will:

  • Clearly identify the relevant regulated lender.
  • Explain MONEYYHEIGHT's role as an LSP or service provider.
  • Disclose relevant loan offer information and associated terms.
  • Present available offers transparently.
  • Obtain the necessary consent before sharing information.
  • Avoid misleading representations about approval or eligibility.
  • Avoid interface practices that improperly influence a customer's selection.
  • Facilitate access to the lender's applicable loan documents and disclosures.

Where multiple loan offers are displayed, applicable disclosures may include the lender's name, loan amount, APR, tenure and other material terms.

The actual availability of these features depends on the relevant product configuration and the lender arrangements.

8. Data Storage and Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, subject to applicable law, regulatory instructions, lender agreements and legitimate recordkeeping requirements.

8.1 Retention of Enquiry Information

Information relating to an enquiry that does not progress to an application may be retained for a limited period to respond to the enquiry, manage follow-up, prevent fraud or meet applicable recordkeeping requirements.

Where the information is no longer necessary and no lawful retention requirement applies, it will be deleted or anonymised in accordance with our retention procedures.

8.2 Loan Application Information

Information relating to an application may need to be retained to support the application process, maintain consent records, resolve complaints, meet legal obligations or comply with the relevant lender's instructions.

8.3 KYC and Financial Documents

KYC documents, financial records and other sensitive application documents will be handled according to the applicable regulatory requirements, our authorised role, contractual arrangements and the relevant lender's instructions.

MONEYYHEIGHT will not assume that it may retain every KYC or financial document indefinitely merely because the document was submitted through our application.

Where applicable RBI digital lending requirements restrict LSPs from storing borrower information beyond permitted minimal operational data, those restrictions will be followed.

The regulated lender and MONEYYHEIGHT will determine the respective storage, access, retention and deletion responsibilities through their applicable arrangements.

8.4 Deletion and Anonymisation

When personal information is no longer required and no lawful basis for continued retention exists, we will take appropriate steps to delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it.

Deletion may be subject to lawful retention requirements, ongoing disputes, fraud investigations, regulatory directions or other applicable legal obligations.

8.5 Retention Schedule

We will maintain an internal retention schedule specifying relevant categories of information, retention periods, access restrictions and deletion procedures.

The exact retention period may vary according to the type of information, the service involved and applicable legal or contractual requirements.

9. Data Hosting and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss, misuse or destruction.

Depending on the relevant system, safeguards may include:

  • Encryption in transit and, where appropriate, at rest.
  • Role-based access controls.
  • Multi-factor authentication for privileged access.
  • Secure application and API authentication.
  • Access logging and monitoring.
  • Vulnerability assessment and security testing.
  • Secure development and deployment practices.
  • Backup and recovery procedures.
  • Employee confidentiality obligations.
  • Incident response procedures.
  • Periodic access reviews.

Our proposed digital lending infrastructure uses AWS India hosting.

The specific hosting region, backup location, subprocessors and permitted data flows will be configured and verified against applicable Indian legal and regulatory requirements and the relevant lender agreements before the corresponding service goes live.

The use of an India-based cloud region alone does not establish complete regulatory compliance. The actual storage, replication, backup, access and processing arrangements must also comply with the requirements applicable to the relevant data and lending activity.

We restrict employee and representative access to personal information according to their authorised responsibilities.

No security measure can guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we will take appropriate steps to investigate, contain, remediate and provide notifications where required by applicable law or regulatory instructions.

10. Data Sharing Within Our Organisation

Access to customer information may be provided to authorised employees, customer support personnel, relationship managers, telecallers and operations personnel where necessary to perform their assigned duties.

Such access will be limited according to role and business need.

Employees and authorised representatives must follow applicable confidentiality, security and data-handling requirements.

Customer information must not be copied, exported, disclosed or used for unauthorised personal or commercial purposes.

Where customer information is processed through a CRM, telecalling platform or other business system, the relevant system must be configured with appropriate access restrictions and safeguards.

11. Cookies and Analytics

Our website may use cookies, analytics tools and similar technologies to:

  • Maintain website functionality.
  • Understand website performance.
  • Diagnose technical issues.
  • Measure advertising effectiveness.
  • Improve user experience.
  • Protect against suspicious activity.

Where required, we will provide appropriate notices and obtain consent before using non-essential cookies or tracking technologies.

You may manage cookies through your browser settings or the available consent mechanism.

Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

We will configure advertising and analytics tools to avoid disclosing financial documents, KYC information, bank account details, loan application contents or other sensitive personal information to advertising platforms.

12. Advertising and Customer Acquisition

MONEYYHEIGHT may use advertising platforms, including Google Ads and Meta advertising services, to promote its financial services and generate customer enquiries.

These platforms may process limited technical information, cookie identifiers or advertising interaction information according to their own privacy policies and applicable consent requirements.

We will not intentionally transmit PAN, Aadhaar information, bank statements, credit reports, KYC documents, loan application details or other sensitive financial information to advertising platforms through advertising pixels, URLs, conversion events or analytics integrations.

Advertising audiences and tracking mechanisms will be configured according to applicable privacy laws and the relevant platform's policies.

Google Ads financial-services verification and other advertising eligibility requirements are separate from this Privacy Policy. Publishing a privacy policy does not itself establish that the Company is eligible or verified to advertise every financial product.

13. Customer Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Request information about the personal data we process.
  • Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of personal information where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Raise a grievance concerning the handling of your information.
  • Request information about relevant processing or sharing, where applicable.
  • Exercise other rights available under applicable Indian data protection law.

Requests will be reviewed and handled in accordance with applicable law.

Where information is held by a lending partner or another independent entity, we may direct your request to that entity or coordinate with it as appropriate.

We may request reasonable verification to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

We will not refuse a lawful request merely because it is inconvenient. However, some information may need to be retained where a valid legal or regulatory requirement applies.

14. Children's Personal Information

Our loan application and financial product services are intended for individuals who meet the relevant legal age and product eligibility requirements.

We do not knowingly seek to collect children's personal information for ordinary loan application purposes.

Where information concerning a child is inadvertently submitted, or where any service involves a person who may be a child, we will handle the information in accordance with applicable law and take appropriate steps where necessary.

We will apply any legally required parental consent or other safeguards where relevant.

15. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website or application may contain links to the websites, applications or services of banks, NBFCs, insurance providers, verification providers and other third parties.

Those services may operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

We are not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third parties outside our control.

Before submitting information directly to a partner's website or application, you should review the applicable privacy notice and terms.

Where a third party processes information on our behalf, the relevant contractual and legal safeguards will apply.

16. Customer Communications

We may contact you through your registered mobile number, email address, in-app notifications or other permitted communication channels for service-related purposes.

These communications may concern:

  • Enquiries and applications.
  • Verification requirements.
  • Document submission.
  • Application status.
  • Customer support.
  • Complaints and grievances.
  • Security or account-related matters.
  • Legal or regulatory notices.

Promotional communications will be subject to the applicable consent, preference and communication requirements.

We will not use misleading communications to suggest that a loan has been approved when the lender has not issued the relevant approval.

17. Third-Party Lender Privacy Policies

Each participating bank or NBFC may independently process personal information in accordance with its own privacy policy, applicable laws and regulatory obligations.

Where required, we will make the relevant lender's identity and privacy information available through the application or the relevant product workflow.

You may need to review and accept the lender's terms, privacy notice, loan agreement, Key Facts Statement and other applicable disclosures before proceeding.

MONEYYHEIGHT's Privacy Policy does not replace a participating lender's privacy policy or other mandatory loan documentation.

18. Grievance Redressal
